Notable speakers at this year’s Legal Summit will be John Rancourt from the Office of National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC). He will be giving an overview of the second draft of TEFCA and joining a national panel of experts to discuss the many interoperability initiatives in 2019.

Additionally, Dr. Junaid Nabi and Nicholson Price will be leading a revolutionary discussion on Bioethics and Artificial Intelligence and its relationship to health information.

The Connecting Michigan for Health day one keynote speaker, Elise Sweeney Anthony, Executive Director of Policy, ONC, Department of Health and Human Services, will discuss a view from the office of the national coordinator. On day two, we will hear from keynote speaker Becki Cienki, Director, Behavioral Health, Michigan Health Endowment Fund.

The first day lunch is sponsored by HIMSS North America and we welcome members Jeff Coughlin, Senior Director Federal and State Affairs, and Valerie Rogers, Director State Government Affairs.
