Chrisita Ackermann received her original pharmacist training at the College of Pharmacy, North West University, Potchefstroom, South Africa. She earned her PhD in Skin Permeation work at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.
After immigrating to the United States in August of 2000, she has served as Associate Research Professor at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan, Associate Fellow R7 at Pfizer PDM in Ann Arbor, MI; earned an Executive MBA at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan; worked as Community Pharmacy Manager at Meijer in Saginaw, MI, at Rite Aid in Essexville, MI, and at Kroger in Bay City, MI.
Chrisita’s family includes her husband Johann, three sons, four granddaughters and a small dog (Zoe).
